For those looking got a quick mapset and don't want to drop the Cash on the Garmin Topo maps. These are the one's for you. They now offer Topo elevations, and it does offer all the roads in the US from what I've seen. They are also allow for navigation routes.

if you can deal with not having the elevations, I possess the non-Topo version that just has the road maps. I can get these to anyone at meet&eats that I attend as long as ya bring a DVD-R.

I visited his site and found he had video tutorials for how to install these topos, then visted his YouTube site and he has other geocaching related tutorials for creating custom maps.

Actually, from what I've seen, The Topo Maps only relate to Canadia, there are street maps availible at:
