Local Cachers in Lake Erie Living Magazine

Post by GoodDog »

8) 8)

A new magazine came out this week and features an article about geocaching. The BBD's, Good Dog, Barnacle Bear, LuvWahoo, and J-Kass are all quoted. Pretty nice magazine. Lake Erie Living

With so much publicity lately, we could use a topic section In The News

OK, how do you find the magazine. Their "find a news stand" feature doesn't seem to work, I entered Toledo and Cleveland and got zero hits..

It's a new magazine and they may not have it all together yet. They sent me a copy. I'll take it to Lorain on Sat. and make some copies of the article if someone wants one. I think DR.DNF would want one.

If I could scan a page from the magazine I would add my own photo...

I will have to get my hands on one of them. It said they sell them at the Rite Aide in Oak Harbor.

The only photo there now is of some geocacher I have never met, but wouldn't mind meeting. I think they stole a model from LL Bean or something. She isn't even mud covered and doesn't look like she would use Deet40 for perfume.

I think we might run into copyright issues if we scanned the pages and put them on the website without permission. We don't need that. Of course a spoof page, like they use to use for Mad Magazine, might work.

I was just kidding. Be sure to take any comments received from cheech gang or Barnacle Bear with a grain of salt. Let this be your final warning.

Hello everyone,

I wrote the story in Lake Erie Living. Glad you liked it. I took some photos too, but they wanted pictures that looked like "fall."

I'm not sure where to tell you to find it, but did anybody look on page 44 on the left side of the page?

I like the new "In the News" section. I'll try to add some more ...
Have a great day!

P.S. The caches from Lake Erie Magazine contain MANY tokens with info on how to redeem for prizes. I had a choice of T-shirt or one year subscrition to the magazine.
