Idaho power trail

Post by GrizzFlyer »

Was looking at some possible places to visit, and the area SW of Boise is a mecca of caches. The Mud Flat area is semi-remote, and has an extensive power trail. Look at it on gc dot com or Google Earth using coords N42 52.170 W116 10.590. That will put you in the center of a large group of caches shaped like an old steam locomotive. This might have been mentioned on here before. The power trail is to the south and west of the choo-choo train.

I think I heard Cheech mention that he was planning a trip.

I'll look out the right hand window of the aircraft to see if I can spot the locomotive.

From what I remember from some friends who were planning on it, the Idaho train power trail is a several day endeavor. That one along with a couple of others in Idaho are done on quads.
