Re: 12-12-12
from the geocaching.com newsletter this last week...
"All those caching to shake off the winter chill in the Northern Hemisphere or embracing a summer cache run in the Southern Hemisphere will earn an exclusive 12-12-12 Souvenir. Simply log a "Found it" for a cache or an "Attended" for an Event Cache on 12-12-12. Hundreds of geocaching Event Caches are already scheduled in more than 20 countries. Find an event on the Geocaching Event Calendar or create your own 12-12-12 Event Cache."
i also saw a geocoin minted for michigan on their website for GC3W4YM - perhaps ohio has one minted also...
at the waffle stompers, we were chatting about a 12-12-12 at 12-12-12 AM flash mob - how many would be interested just after midnight???
or how about a noonish one???

There is also a 12-12-12 event in Lima. RedHatJudy's group is having a little get together since their normal meet & eat will fall on Christmas!

Re: 12-12-12
Probably a M&E would be best because my employer doesn't pay close attention to 12:00 is time for lunch. Meetings some times run 15-20 minutes over

Re: 12-12-12
Isn't it a little late to be requesting publication of an event?
Oh... wait, it's Michigan. Nevermind.

No, that's Indiana that has a lower cut-off if you are part of a certain clique.cheechgang wrote:Isn't it a little late to be requesting publication of an event?

I've still gotta a couple of days...I'm usually submitting them at the LAST minute.
