I know Papa2All has reserved his site. Scuba & I will be camping again this year & we are going to get the same site (38-2) that we had last year. Why don't we make it a party in that area for ALL NWOGEO members who are camping? This area is close to Spangler Arena which has showers & bathrooms. Also, it is close to all the main events. Post which site you will be camping at in this forum!

I hardly noticed the turnpike noise at all. Maybe Papa2All can chime in on this one!

We are in 38-2, 39-2, & 40-2, one of these sites is for scuba and for now part of the other two is for the hospitality tent.

I would say you will barely notice it all, but I also live abput 30 feet from a major highway so I'm used to the noise...as long as there arent any accidents or cunstruction (that can get LOUD from people honking and other stuff)

I think I'm in 39-1 this year. Papa2all took my spot for last year, probably cuz someone took his spot from last year!

As Gizmo said I took 38-3 as the spot we were in last year was taken already. We enjoyed it, did not notice the highway traffic really and is somewhat close to bathrooms, most the action, and close enough to area 51 but far enough also if you know what I mean.

Lynn and I have site 52-4 reserved. We probably won't camp but just put up a screen shelter and use it for Sat. night. We day tripped last year also, but not having a base of operations was a little akward.

I believe I am at 49-1. Still have to come up with some of the camping accessories before the event, but we still have plenty of time.

Since the nwo hospitality thing has been moved out of the campground I gave 38-2 to dougohio, we have 39-2, and scuba took 40-2.
