Re: Bicycling/picnic event
I am actually thinking about making a pathtag to give away for this event.

Re: Bicycling/picnic event
Very nice design.
I think I will save the 3 caches I haven't found on that trail for the event.

Re: Bicycling/picnic event
Mike, just to be sure, can I ride the entire 15.5 miles round trip or is there some hiking required?

Re: Bicycling/picnic event
it can all be ridden but at the leaking lock area you may need to hike just a hundred feet or so.

How many caches are there now?thunter16148 wrote:I have reserved the shelter house at IDSP for May 22. The event page is written up and ready to submit on Feb. 22. The starting time is 11 am. Right now there are 18 traditional caches along the trail there. It will be a hiking/biking event along the canal towpath only.

Re: Bicycling/picnic event
I had the whole area cleared out. I now have 17 to-do that day including 1 in Defiance, 2 in Napoleon and 4 south of the river. so that makes 9 caches on trail to do for me including the event and I have another 20 smiles on trail. So according to my calculations and unless some of my smiles are archived, there are 29 on trail caches available.
YMMV
