Another Defiance Meet & Eat?

Well it looks like it's leaning towards a Defiance Halloween Meet & Eat. Any last votes? I want to start preparing for it, so I will take into consideration any votes, concerns, comments, ideas, etc. until this Sunday evening. Gizmo, would there be a problem with having it Oct. 31 @ 2 pm? I know that it's only 4 days before the Maumee M&E.

I know it is close, but given the distance and the holiday, I think it would be fine.

Keger was also thinking about having a Van Wert event, but nothing has been mentioned lately.

It looks like a Halloween M & E has snuck out with the victory. I am going to try to come up with gifts for anyone (especially the kids) that come in costume. Would it be alright with everyone if I made plans for it to be at East of Chicago instead of BWW? The East of Chicago here in Defiance has a large pizza, salad and dessert buffet (reasonably priced) and token arcade games (like Chuck E Cheese). The dining area is large and all open unlike BWW and it is definitley not as loud. TeamMina suggested having it here and I think it's a great idea.

Ok, Oct. 31 @ 2pm. I'm hoping to have it at East of Chicago. I will stop and talk to the management sometime this week. I will also get the GC page made and get it up for publication. If East of Chicago isn't to keen on us having it there, then it'll be at BWW. I'll keep ya posted!

Stopped by East of Chicago and talk to a manager about having the Defiance Halloween Meet & Eat there. Everything is set. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 2 PM. I will get the GC cache page done up and up for review in the next couple of days. Salad and pizza buffet with arcade games like skeeball and whack-a-mole. Bring the little goblins and have a haunting good time!

I should also be there. A coworker just told me he had decided to have a Halloween Party. I replied back that "I'm in Defiance." He gave me a puzzled and shocked look saying I couldn't be against him having a party. I repeated myself and a few moments later he finally realized that I was referring to the city and not the act.
