Did anyone else have gps issues last weekend?

Post by Waggy6 »

We thought we could get a couple quick finds in during the long weekend but we quickly gave up Sunday after our gps couldn't get more accurate than 60 ft at best. Its very interesting to watch the cache moving in circles around you as you stand still. Did anyone else have any issues this last weekend?

The only caches I found were with my phone. I didn't have any problems though.

It's very possible there is something funny happening with the most recent update. I'm wondering if the update from Jellybean to KitKat may have affected the gps programming.

Man, everyone is spoiled! We used to only get within 30-40 a lot with the old blue etrex :P

Its kind of funny when the accuracy makes it look like i'm spiraling around the cache when I'm standing still. But as far as accuracy goes its often off by 120 feet lately. Going to try again this week and see how its working.
