Oldest Unfound Cache No More

Post by Handyman-N-Fam »

It looks like a cache in Ontario that was the oldest unfound cache in the world was found over the weekend.
4.5lb Walleye was hidden on June 23, 2001 lasted almost 12 years before being found.
8 days in a canoe is no big deal, right?

http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index. ... 11580&st=0 from my new topic Sun nite - CACHE HUNT ADVENTURE BETTER THAN THE FIND

having followed this gc.com forum thread for the "Oldest Unfound Cache" for the past week,
it begs to ask the question? Have you a Cache Hunt Adventure story to share? or logs of another cachers' experience?

this will be good reading to alleviate cabin fever, or perhaps to induce caching fever, next winter...

That's a pencil box!! I recognize the bumps on the bottom. To survive over 10 years up there, or anywhere, I bet it was in a black plastic bag. With a bungee cord. Great story. 8)
