Cacher completely changes find

Post by cheechgang »

What do you think of this? I know containers can have a tendency to migrate a little but this is ridiculous.
A person felt the terrain is rated too high so they completely change the hide on their own to match their concept of a terrain 4.

Nope. You don't change someone elses cache to suit your tastes... Hide it as you found it, unless it is very obvious it belongs elswhere(such as you found it on the ground under a nice hole in a tree...).

Perhaps a little hand holding is necessary. We all know that this was not right, but we cannot assume everyone with 10 finds knows this isn't appropriate.

Was the reference communication to the cacher that rehid it or on the cache page. He may not be watching the cache page.
