The Fizzy Challenge is a series of challenge caches. The first Fizzy Challenge cache was created by Kealia to honor the contributions of FizzyMagic to the local geocaching community.

I had heard the Jasmer story before, but didn't know about Fizzy. Thanks Mo.

You'd be wrong.

I consider fizzymagic a long-distance geobuddy. Known as one of Northern California's most prolific puzzle cache creators (and solvers), fizzy travels far and wide. I last saw him at GeoWoodstock VIII in Seattle. Fizzy is a mathematician and computer expert, responsible for the "fizzycalc" tool and the first way of parsing one's finds to see what difficulty/terrain combinations a person had found. So, the challenge was named after him.

This week, fizzymagic celebrates his tenth anniversary in geocaching!

No better way to celebrate St. Patty's Day than with a little of the Fizzy.
