Great Logs!

Post by TheBearclaws »

If you happen to read a log somewhere that makes you laugh, post it here. We've all seen them, why I even saw a couple today, what a coincidence. The more hellairous the better.

Once and a while I get a good log, but this ranks among the best I've got.

Nurse Nanna's log for Allen's 3rd

I will keep digging through, I know I've got a couple of good logs that I should be able to dig up.

As long as we are nominating our own, I was always partial to this one. It was an additional logging requirement to leave your favorite recipe.

This is crazy. I thought this cache had been archived. Truth is, the first time I was near here I by-passed this cache because I didn't have a recipe with me (but I thought it was a pretty neat idea at the time). I came home and printed out my instructions to make the crockpot turkey kielbasa thing that I bring to the Xmas Shindigs (it's the only thing I know to make). I carried this recipe in my wallet for a couple years so that next time I happened to be in the area I would be ready AND qualified to log the cache. Eventually the paper fell apart and was dumped when I cleaned the secret compartments of my wallet. Now, since that recipe won first place at the chili/soup competition at Xmas Shindig VI, I can never reveal the ingredients. Since the cache is still active I might have to figure out a brownie recipe and head back up to Tipton.

A few of my faves:
ConcordiaFindlay That is the most recent and I ended up getting the travel bugs.

I love trains! He was new at the time and must have been his first nano. That cache is special to me, and to another NWOGEO member.

Rawson Park At one of my two hardest caches, also a nano.

Now, to the funniest in my area, I will just give you the links to some of my fave caches that I had found and put on my watchlist. You just have to read the logs...
GC30EMZ

GC2XZFY

Those are my faves. I might come up with a few more, LOL.

We would have to really bang our three heads together here to come up with our favorite funny logs our caches have received.
But, when we talk of our favorites, the two that usually come up aren't funny, but make it worth being involved with this crazy hobby.

I got a couple of those too. It was a simple statement that made you sit down and think about what was important. The logs were probably the most memorable ones I have gotten.

I'll pat myself on the back for this one. Those who've been around awhile will remember the incident, those who haven't may also want to read down the logs to rattraks 3 connected logs on 3/20/08.

My last one reminded of this one that also involved the use of my special retrieval device and teamwork.

I'm on a roll! This cache was not about getting your teeth cleaned.

Lots of good dnf logs in the beginning.

Another great cache with logs, especially the FTF one.
