Crazy avatar antics
Has anyone else noticed some strange things going on with your avatar while on a geocaching dot com webpage? I often see MY avatar displayed as somebody else's avatar in the logging section. I occasionally see it on the groundspeak forum pages too, which leads me to believe that something is amiss on my end, as those two webpages are on different machines (I think).
On gc dot com, I'll look at a cache page, and sometimes see my avatar on another cachers log, I hit <reload> and it moves to yet another cachers log, displacing the correct avatar. I've been noticing this for several months, and just saw it again a little while ago while looking at a blue squiggly cache from Len-a-puzzle county. At least I solved the puzzle.
Hmmmm.....

I have not seem this myself, but I have seen it mentioned somewhere in the gc.com forums since the last update,so it must be a known issue

At the rate this topic is going, we would like to put in a formal request to move this subject to the "OFF-TOPIC" section.
Or at least, try starting this subject again.

Re: Crazy avatar antics
Nobody is going to remark about the fact that I solved a Len-a-puzzle County blue squiggly?????
I must admit a small hint was given, and I still messed it up 3 times before getting all the numbers right. And it took a few minutes to realize that eleven eleven eighty-six is nothing.
Anyway, back to the crazy avatars. Read the link Cheech provided and that lead to 2 more threads about it, so it is a known pervasive problem. I'm happier knowing that it isn't on my end.
