help locating an archived cache
I'm trying to locate an archived cemetery cache that was in the same location as a new cache. The new cache is Another Zeke Country Cache GC2T5C1. We found it this past weekend. Well, not really. I guess we found an old cache, in the same location. When we got home and I reread the cache page and some of the other logs, it just didn't sound like the same cache. After emailing the CO, Tallox, I found that it's not. So I was just wondering what the old cache was? Anyone remember?

Re: help locating an archived cache
I suspect it was probably a blue squiggly, considering the county it is in.
I found the new one, but not the old one...Sorry!
I am sure someone on can help you out, if not, you could ask a reviewer.

Oh my gosh! Not one of those darn blue squigglies!
Can we count it?

Re: help locating an archived cache
I've checked my found caches and there has not been a traditional cache at that location. There were also no puzzle caches within 2 miles eiither, so I can't figure out what it was.

I would probably shoot an email to -DeRock- ( reviewer.derock@gmail.com ) with the coords and tell him the situation, he is usually pretty responsive.
Otherwise, you would probably need to find the names and dates of some of those on the log (from some time ago) to try and track it down.

Re: help locating an archived cache
We never solved every mystery, or most in the area, but that's been the first cache placement in that cemetery since we've been caching.
Love to know what's going on.
Wonder if someone did something with the original container, maybe swapped it out with a different container someone had with them.

Re: help locating an archived cache
Nothing shows up in the system near the referenced cache. You'll note there are no blue squigglies with posted coords <2 miles from GC2T5C1. That's true for archived caches as well.
You are then left with wild radical ideas like multicaches that start 200 miles away but don't have accurate waypoints, or an Opencaching exclusive listing. Oh wait... scratch that last part... you said there were signatures in the log.

Re: help locating an archived cache
I have an app on my phone for opencaching. I have never cached with it, but it is really easy to look at the map for caches. There are no caches between Sylvania and Jackson Michigan. So, that's not it...
I did find out that there is an opencaching cache in the same cemetery as the final for my Henry County Tour Multi...

Maybe go see the names/dates on the log and maybe they can tell what they found on that date.

What were the names on the other logs? Maybe someone will recognize the names.

Re: help locating an archived cache
It is not an active Terracache or Navicache.
