Naturally we're headed to the Great Northwest in a couple of months and were hoping to nail this bastard down.

Balls.

Yes it is sad to see this one go. I had no immediate plans to go find it, but it was on my "Nice To Find Someday" list. I think there still is an APE cache somewhere far away like South America that is active, but I could be wrong.

I am kind of annoyed that they have cache types that are impossible for cachers to get anymore.
I am an amazed cacher!

I just checked and GCC67 is the last Project APE cache in the world. It is in Brazil! I am sure Cheech will be going there sometime soon!

I do believe that there is another Planet of the Apes movie coming out later this year. Maybe there will be some new Project Ape caches soon.

Maybe we could find out who to contact so we all could email them and ask them for them again.

sure sound like something they would have discussed, along with adopting out...
the logs tell of great adventures - truly a classic to be missed...
