Mystery Cache challenge
Got an email from Don&Betty, cachers from Jackson and the Hillsdale County area. Don likes to create mystery caches, and they have a reputation of being tough but do-able. He has 14 of them published. Nobody has been able to do all 14. He would like somebody to solve and find all 14 of his mystery caches. A link to them is HERE.
Any of you mystery guys up to it?

Re: Mystery Cache challenge
I believe I am the leading solver for Don&Betty puzzles at the moment. Of his fourteen puzzles, I have solved and found twelve. I know how to solve one (4 Rail Billards), just haven't got around to it. As for the remaining, I need help with Checkmate the Drug Lords.

Re: Mystery Cache challenge
We don't know Don&Betty, we're sure they're nice people.
But I don't see us ever attempting any of them.
We clicked on a few, glanced at them, and kept MOseying along.
Hate passing up caches that are actually size 3 containers.
But if the one thing you learn in this business is your limitations.
And if we still can't solve 75% of Lenawee mysteries, we can't make any sense of messing with these things.

Re: Mystery Cache challenge
I have the solution to the puzzle in question, but that does not mean there is any logic involved. Some puzzles are more elegant than others.cachergirl27 wrote:and how 2x3 does not equal the same thing as 3x2!!!!!

A brand new cache by Don&Betty Hidden : 02/15/2009
Is the date hidden a part of the puzzle? Wassup with that?

Re: Mystery Cache challenge
My best guess is that it is not part of the puzzle. When I spoke with Don in person (March/April 2009), he told me that he had about 8-12 cans hidden that he had not got puzzles made for yet. Since then he has released around five of them.cheechgang wrote:A brand new cache by Don&Betty Hidden : 02/15/2009
