Why does it take so long.....

...to get a cache approved (or rejected) at the metroparks? Over 5 weeks now since application emailed, 2 weeks later sent in a follow up email, called the number last week and it went right to voice mail -left a message- no return call. I know I'm using the right email address, it was used a couple of weeks ago to email another cacher to renew his cache. Sometimes these things take time, but a courtesy return email or phone call would be nice. Hope she is not ill or anything. Anybody have any insight?

And I'm not the only one, at least one other cacher has one pending from before mine.

My State Forest cache permit took exactly 2 weeks to the day from submission to receiving the permit in the mail. Not bad.

Metroparks will be 6 weeks Friday, and not even any type of reply or acknowledgment to email or phone call.

Tammy called me this afternoon. Apparently she cannot locate either (mine and Handyman's) of the cache applications. I re-submitted mine, she said that she will try to have them approved soon.

So, I better get out there tomorrow and hide the cache and submit the cache page. In that order.

I got my permit today. Now I just need to make my way over there and hide the cache. I will TRY to get that done in the next few days...
