Bike trail caching

Post by T-Hunter »

Does anyone know where there are some bike trail caches that are either on or off road and have maybe 20 + caches? I have done the one between Jackson and Concord MI.

Thanks Russ. I appreciate that too :bat: hopefully Keystone will provide a little info since he would be a good source of information on this.

Why not just ride the WCT and perform some maintenance on all of our caches for us?
We would ALL 'preciate it.

I thought the old Muskingum Trail would have more caches, but I see only about 9-10 there. Starts at GC15Y63 and goes SE for 5-6 miles. Near Canal Fulton south of Akron.

You would think someone somewhere has a bookmarked list of cache-crazy bike trails.

Got one......

The Macomb Orchard Trail, starts NE of Rochester Hills MI and goes NE then east to Richmond. Caches start at GC1C70X at the south end. At least 20 caches before it turns east, didn't look after that. Info center at GC1C71V. Webpage Macomb Orchard Trail.

There aren't many along the Orchard Trail eastward toward Richmond.
Mike's sister used to live in Richmond, MI when we first started caching, but never did any of the few off of there at the time, as they weren't being well- maintained.

Correct me if i'm wrong (and i probably am) but doesn't the bike trail that goes from Adrian to Tecumseh have quite a bit of caches on it once you solve all of the puzzles?

That's the Kiwanis Trail. The more puzzles I solve, the more times I end up back on that trail.

I have a few solved myself. If you ever want to team up and solve some let me know. Maybe we need to get a puzzle solving group together. :)

Been thinking a puzzle-solving event would be an interesting and worthwhile event in these parts.

Not necessarily these parts. The event should be held in either Adrian or Monclova.
