What is the point of that button anyway? I logged some caches today, and then clicked on my stats tab. It was already updated when I looked.

I can see some new challenge caches coming...... Find at least one cache for every day of the year, etc. That would take most people about a year to qualify for, waiting for a particular date to roll up and then run out and do a cache.

I got enough caches around me that I can do that if I have the time.GrizzFlyer wrote:I can see some new challenge caches coming...... I have been doing this for a while now as a personal goal. I think I will be done in April if I remember correctly.GrizzFlyer wrote:I can see some new challenge caches coming...... Hmmm, I have 14 on February 29. Only been 2 of those since I started caching.

I know from personal experience that challenges aren't as well liked here in NW Ohio as they are in other parts of the country.T-Hunter wrote:I already have an idea in mind for a challenge

Re: Mygeocachingprofile.com Acquired by Groundspeak!
I think people work on challenge caches as they go along. I don't think they set then as a goal and actively work toward the goal. But rather just keep track of where they are. However there are some that will complain that they have to drive to PA to get a "9". Of course there are some that complain that all caches aren't on guard rails also.
Bottom line if you create a challenge or something greater than a 1.5/1.5 be ready to hear complaints.
btw: I don't do Blue Squiggles!

Well they can just get over it. Nothing says they have to complete a challenge.Mighty_Mo wrote:

It all depends on how bad you have the geocaching bug, as to whether you HAVE to complete a challenge or not.
