There is a note from Keystone on Foul Ball in McComb about being archived. This cache was hidden in 2004 and I would hate to see it archived. I posted a note to assume the cache thru adoption. How can I make this happen?

It can ONLY happen if requested by the owner. Email the owner and have them initiate the adoption request (if they are still available)

Good thing you got the direct link from cheech gang.
The only way we can ever find it is to google "geocaching adopt". 8O

The Foul Ball cache in mcComb will probably be archived soon. This is a shame since this cache has been there since July of 2004. With older caches harder to find, I feel we need to not put "Needs Archived" logs on caches until you look into it's history.

There have been two "needs archived" logs recently and Keystone has sent the warning log out. I posted a note to try to adopt the cache but as long as the owner doesn't send me the adoption form my hands are tied. I am going to replace the container just to try and keep an older cache alive. Once these older caches go away, they are never coming back and the Jasmer Challenge gets very hard to complete for the newer cachers.

Perhaps "The North Pole" could use an adoption, or a Secret Santa visit.

If it weren't for two major issues I would have offered to adopt this long ago.

Our sock drawers are the reason we never offered either.
Boy, what a mess.

Wildwonz had been talking to the CO to offer to adopt it. I think if Jimbobwe was going to adopt it out, he would have done so by now.
