High Mileage Travel Bugs or Successful Goal Stories
Our highest mileage TB TBQ2MZ has moved 16,234.6 miles. I'd like to hear what others have to say mileage wise or storiess of successful missions. I've enjoyed playing around with TBs/TravelCoins and helping them along on their way.
Re: High Mileage Travel Bugs or Successful Goal Stories
We dropped a bug named Traveling Troll Kids (TBVVE) Traveling Troll Kids in Myrtle Beach back in June of 2006, and it made it home again finally in December of 2007 after logging some 8,000 miles. Unfortunately we then took it to Las Vegas, and it has come up missing now .

OndHunt's Lizard would have had many, many more miles had our cousins had a GPSr and internet connection while over in Europe. We tried our best to get it over there but they just couldn't find a cache to place it. They were all over the place including Germany, England, and France among others. Sorry they couldn't get this TB a lot more miles. It really is well travelled and hopefully one day will make it to India.

Mike's Morristown Benchmark Geocoin MBRTZN has moved farther than any of our other TBs at 9088.5 and we just launched it on April 4, 2009.
We have a couple of others that have been moving all over the the Czech Republic but they only move a couple of miles at a time.

I should share this! Our "U.S. Geological Surveyor" taken on some kind of crazy tour of the Rockies. Got it's pic taken at GC30 "Mingo", and even found a spot where the artwork on it matched the location, huge animals and all!
The cacher looks kinda familiar, let me know if you've seen this guy around.

Congrats on it hitting the 20,000 mile mark!
We have one in Ireland, and one in the Netherlands. Maybe at the rate yours is going, they'll run into each other!

Re: High Mileage Travel Bugs or Successful Goal Stories
My Puzzle Freak has gone 10838 miles since last April. Someone was nice enough to take it to Switzerland! It hasn't hit quite as many puzzle caches as I hoped but it sure seems to get around!

Dropped a Masonic Geocoin in Wilmington, Ohio in mid December. Received a post that it has since moved to a warmer site. The coin was last tagged in Hawaii, last week. A journey of 4,991 miles, to date.
