How to add HTML to your Geocaching.com Cache Page

Post by GizmoGuy411 »

A few months ago I wrote a primer on the basic use of HTML code for Geocaching.com cache pages. It was a work in progress, and I never quite finished it.

After some discussion in our local threads, I edited the primer enough to present it here. I have tried to presented it in a manner that more people can understand. Please let me know what you think.

PRIMER LINK: Geocache-HTML by GizmoGuy411
(formally known as Geo-HTML)

It includes:
- Basic HTML Elements enabled at Geocaching.com
- Helpful hints for HTML use at Geocahing.com
- Links to FREE HTML editor software.
- Links to FREE Image editor software.
- Links to FREE Page Sizing software.
- Links to FREE Page and Image Ruler software.

This primer was spawned from discussions that started in the following topic threads:
"geommunity.net ?? / Cache Page creation"
and
"Changing cache page text appearance"

Thanks Stumpy... so does that mean I no longer need to do that HTML class I promised a long time ago?

Woops! Thought I fixed that last week. Thanks for the heads-ip!

Another program called "Geo-HTML" exists, so I changed the name of the document to "Geocaching-HTML" so as to avoid confusion. I also went back and changed the name in all occurrences I found in previous forum threads here.

I just tested it, and the link above now works again.
