drizzly day leads to the WGTE PBS station...who knew that would lead to geocaching??? on the America's Heartland program today, the Agricultural Society was discussing
ways to get more knowledge of their Ag programs out to the public...WOOHOO, some of their members put out "AG Caches" on their properties and at their Ag businesses -
to encourage the public to come, with their families and friends, geocaching and learn more about their agricultural endeavors !!!
the beekeepers, organic foodstores, eco friendly chemicals @ grain stores, honey & gift store, ice cream store, etc - it was great hearing & seeing them accurately portray the sport of geocaching with pix of clever hides too!
Brilliant way to promote both!! Agritourism has become another way of advertising - so use that pitch when consulting with property owners of businesses in town for the
urban cache hide...and the same for that strip of woods, or fence line you'd like to use but still need permission before placing that cache hide.
Articles and links about local geocachers in the news.
