But, don't forget.
According to most, this type of geocache in HIGH muggles areas has it's place in geocaching.

I've heard that too. Don't believe everything you read in the papers.

Anaheim police urged those who geochache not to leave out items in open places where they may cause suspicion.
Interesting that they haven't banned geocaches in the park.

From what I understand the 50 state challenge cache is in that park. I was told that they do such a thorough cleanup that they always found and removed the final container. Now, you must let the CO know when you are going to be looking for it, and they will place it for you to find, and then remove it after you find it.

It would be a blue squiggly, since it is a challenge. I'll see if I can find the GC #.

Found 50 States, I'm Going to Disneyland!
It looks like the one I was referring to was archived in the LAST few weeks.

Upon further reading of logs, it appears that this is the cache that caused the hub bub mentioned in the opening link.

Doesn't the cache owner have to provide final coordinates? They would have indicated it was in Disneyland. Maybe in 2005 it wasn't considered a problem.

You'd think Disney would want caches.
That way non-Disney fans have a reason to visit, and maybe buy a sno-cone.

I have logged two of the Disney virtuals in Florida. It was a nice little diversion while doing all the kid's activities.

On a separate tangent: I've logged some virtuals at Disneyword as well. But how they can be afforded the most favorited caches in Florida is beyond me.

It highlights a basic flaw in the favorite system!
