Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007

Post by McCombRef »

I recently purchased Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007 with the GPS tracker.

Is there a program or a way to download cahes on to my lap top so I can see the location of caches when I am driving down the road?

Any help here would be appreciated.

Use GSAK, there is an option to export to Street and Trips. Then in S&T go to data dropdown tag and run import data wizard.

Is the MS program better than the Delamore one? Does MS Streets have a GPS antenna?

I got MS Streets 2007 with the GPS at Best Buy , on sale, for $89. The price has dropped a lot due in part, I think, to all the regular car gps' out there. I haven't even loaded it up yet. Yogi uses 2006, and it's great. You can see every street and 1 million resturants.

Please excuse my ignorance, but you can load waypoints in to help the hunt?

I'm not the person to answer tech questions. I defer to Yogi. He has to help me with GSAK about three times a year.

I just checked out the 2007 version online. The normal cost is $129. I hope our Best Buy still has them on sale. MJ uses Streets & Trips all the time at work.

I did a quick Googls search and found lots of places that have them from $69 -$99.

Now that's just cool. Does it have a GPS antenna, so the map follows your car's progress?

I agree that Yogi’s program is great. I've seen it in action! However, it didn’t show that restaurant recommended by a tattooed lady in Huntington, Indiana! :? Of course, maybe that was a good thing! :D :o 8O

Come to think about it, it did show the restaurant. Wasn't it something like Red Dog Bar & Grill.
