North is 0 degrees and east is 90 degrees so 62.3 is in between

I have an etrex legend. There is a menu option to "project a waypont".
I don't know how to find that option on your GPSr, but it should be in the book. Mine is on the same page as "delete a waypoint".

Close enough for government work (unless the waypoint is a good distance away, or there are LOTS of trees)

What cache is it?

We always carry a compass in our geo-bag, it makes life much easier. You'll never know when you'll runout of batteries and walking in circles is no fun.

Starting from the MAP display, push MENU twice to enter the MAIN MENU. Select SETUP. Scroll right and select the ADVANCED tab at the top. At the bottom of the screen there should be a "Direction Display" option. Scroll to it and push ENTer, and select "NUMERIC DEGREES". Push ESCape
until you back to the map screen.

Resume navigation if not in that mode, or do a FIND to waypoint in question.

OR...

Get a real compass! I always used a real compass for the last part of the hunt with my eMap.

Remember this is not a compass, so readings are only valid when you are moving.

Don't buy a real cheap compass, I have had a coupe that don't always point north.
