So far $44.99 is the best deal I've found for a 1gb TransFlash/MicroSD SanDisk card at Outpost.com.
Comes with a SD adapter.
While it may be big enough to store maps for the entire U.S., certain file count limitations of your GPRr may restrict how much data you can actually store on it.

(We just missed a rebate they had running last month too!)

Re: 1 gig TransFlash/MicroSD memory cards for Garmins
Actually the 1 gig cards will only hold everything East of the Ole Miss. and a little of Ontario. I've had mine for a little over a month now I have street maps for most of the Eastern US, Topo for Ohio and all the surrounding states, and pleanty of room left to store some pretty large Custom POI files.
I'm just hoping they make it so waypoints can be stored to the card...

Check version 2.71beta for our Garmin 60CSx's Coaster. They just added the ability to store tracks. Maybe waypoints will be next!

My two year old $150 Garmin Etrex Legend will point me to the general neighborhood of geocaches. I'm happy.
