I heard over the winter that the extended warm weather through January might make the tick and mosquito threat much worse this year. The long cold weather will kill off many that didn't this year. Be careful.

I've never had a tick on me in my life until this year. I've had three of the Michigan genus in the past 2 weeks, and another today from along the Mighty Maumee River either at Sidecut or Perrysburg. I guess I'm going to have to start spraying before caching

I did Glacier Trailing on the west side of Ohio last week and had 15 of them on me when I got back to the car!! 15! Gross.

I interpret "this year" and "overall" as two different items. Any way you slice it it's "creepy".
