In GSAK:
File->Export->CacheMate PDB File
Choose to install it and any options.
When done, hotsync palm.

Re: Tech Question..Paperless Caching
In GSAK, choose Export from the File menu and then select CacheMate PDB file. On the next screen, where it says "PDB file to create" just give it a path and file name. I call mine closetohome.pdb or something like that.
All the other settings on that screen should be fine, so just click Generate.
It will do some gyrating and then automatically launch your palm install app. Click Done and then do a hotsync for your palm.
When that is done, launch CacheMate on your palm, and it will prompt you to import the new database.
That's it!

Re: Tech Question..Paperless Caching
Hey Jason, for paperless caching with a palm, have you ever tried the GPX Spinner / Plucker method instead of CacheMate?
If so, what are your thoughts? Is one better or worse than the other?

Re: Tech Question..Paperless Caching
Before Cachemate existed I used plucker/spinner on both Palm and PocketPC. I prefer Cachemate because it simplifies my logging.
When I find the cache, I mark it found and write a small note. I then sync the palm and use the cachemate import to import the finds from it. I write more in depth notes on the caches then if they warrent them, and use a GSAK macro to sequentially load the log pages where I just select found and paste. Way easier.

Re: Tech Question..Paperless Caching
I guess I'm gonna have to do the paperless thing.
Re: Tech Question..Paperless Caching
Got it to work but now it won't let me register it, says the reg # and name don't match. I requested a new reg # because without it you can only get 10 downloads. Thanks again for the help guys.

Good to hear you've got things rolling. I should get the M500 I bought off of eBay sometime tomorrow, and then I can give this half broken Treo back to my company.
