Re: IPAD 3 software??
I use geosphere on my iPod for paperless caching. Since I do not have a 3g connection caches need to be preloaded before heading out.
Also look into iGCT. Handy for a=1, b=2, c=3... calculations.

Re: Spring Fling 2012 - What Went Right / Wrong
What went right: a less complex poker run. Scanning barcodes always seems to take so long for a relatively small group.
What went wrong: we had more hot dogs and buns than necessary. Always tough to know how much to get, especially given the weather.

Re: Where can we have our Holiday Shindig?
I know Marie's in Perrysburg will rent out the restaurant starting at 3:00 when the close up for the day. We could try for Blue Pacific but I don't know if they would rent out or appreciate a bunch of people who show up and then never leave. (not that we have ever been known to close a restaurant ho...

Re: Should we move the Web Site to another server
As long as the funding is available, I really don't see why those who do not administer the site should be involved. I have seen this debate get ugly in the past elsewhere. "The students need a say in what networking hardware is in their dorm's rack!", "I don't like the name of that s...

Re: Bash power adapters
As always, Google is your friend. "30 amp to 15 amp adapter" yields the desired adapter for a wide range of prices. Scored two from amazon for under $20.

Bash power adapters
It would appear that I have booked into a campsite with utility power hookups instead of the standard 3 prong that we all know and love. Does anyone know where I might be able to acquire a utility -> standard adapter?

Phoon on Google StreetView
The Google Streetview van came by and parked in my office lot today for lunch. When I saw it I ran out for an emergency parking lot phoon and the driver gave me a wave after a few seconds.
