Re: what the heck is a moops

Oh,
:o
I always thought the reference was to this slang use of Moop

I had some Britsih friends who frequently used the term in a joking manner.

Re: Wow..

I've also been busy most weekends since the Christmas holidays or the wather has been too poor for me to want to go caching. Every time, I would decided that tomorrow would be a caching day, it turned for the worse. I did do a run to southern Virginia to recover my brother's van which broke down aft...

Re: 2005 Spring Fling Event

I've noticed that not just a few but almost all of the Travel Bugs are still logged into the Event. I dropped one off but forgot later to pick another one up (I wanted to grab RMO but didn't notice it there). Are they all in the hands of someone? I hate the responsibility of losing someone else's Tr...

Re: Caching in Findlay

Thanks BVCY Swim for organizing this outing! Thanks Yogi57 for acting as our tour guide! It was a good opportunity to see my OKIC friends and a great day to be out caching. I managed to time my departure from Detroit so we all arrived at just about the same scheduled time. By my count, we found 29 ...

Re: Caching in Findlay

Any NWOGEO members showing up for this group outing?

Even though I offered a free ride with me on the MiGO forums, I had no takers.
Maybe a few of the local Ohio cachers in addition to Yogi57 will show some hospitality to friends from the south.

I-75 Bookmark List

I've been asked many times about the caches I hunt (and hopefully find) while driving between Detroit and Cincinnati. I've now started to create an I-75 Corridor Caches Bookmark list. I-75 Geocaches [/u][/size] So far, I've only added a few caches from Michigan through Ohio and into northern Kentuck...

NWO attendees

I'm going to be there and hope that some of the NWO members can make it down.
I just happen to live in a far northern suburb of Toledo!

If you can ever get the MIGO members to cross the border  , it sounds like a great idea. I might suggest the Van Buren State Park. It has 3 caches in the park, is very close to I-75 and about half between the groups and is very close for the NWOGEO members. Only the Cincinnati area cachers woul...

Chat (IRC)

Ive noticed that except for Jason and myself, I've never found anyone in the chat. I'm wondering if I should invite the other Ohio groups to use it? The main Geocaching chat is always busy with people (but not always conversations) and the MiGO chat is usually active 3-4 nights a week. Anyone want t...

Mini-pens for Micro Caches

I brought, showed off and even gave away a few mini ballpoint pens at the NWOGEO Fall Meeting. While I'd like to take credit for the idea, I actually got the concept and technique from the HuntnLady's Website. Here's the link to the instruction page for making them. The Prime Suspect Guide to Creati...

First Post

I joined the group a week ago and just noticed that no one had posted a single message yet. Do I need to tell UMC about this group? I like caching in Ohio (especially NWO) and spend a lot of time driving up and down I-75 between Detroit and Cincinnati, where my mother lives. Looking forward to meeti...
