It was good. $3.15 for the free sammich, and the required soda and chips. Not a bad deal.

Re: Handyman 500 Blue Squigglies
Uh, there's a little known tradition at NWOGEO that once a cacher gets 500 blue squigglies, he should post the final coordinates for said squigglies on the NWOGEO forum. And leave them on there for at least a week.

Re: hypothetical question for reviewers
Rule 45 subsection Omega sez neither state reviewer. In that situation, it would require review by a third party. In Ohio and Michigan disputes, the Louisiana reviewer has jurisdiction.

For those of you who like blue squiggly challenges
Do a search on zip 49418 (Grandville MI). The place is infested with them. Those who like to do challenge squigglies might have fun seeing if you qualify for them.

Farmland News large geocaching story
The January 14, 2014 issue of Farmland News, a local newspaper from Archbold, has a large article on geocaching. It features Adjourn, who lives around here in good weather, and goes to Florida for the winters. It is the full front page story, with several more full pages of text and good photos. Som...

Re: MightyMo's Passing
The memorial tree sounds nice. I've seen a bunch of nice benches with memorial plaques around the trails in Oak Openings, anybody know the deal on those?
Of course, all this would have to be with the family's blessing.

Re: MightyMo's Passing
Sad to hear this, Rick was a good man that will be missed.
This past fall, I saw his red SUV parked at one of his favorite restaurants in downtown Whitehouse. I turned around and walked in. Had a good chat with him for over an hour. Glad I had the opportunity to do that.

Anybody have any input on the Magellan Exp 710? Does it require purchase of additional software to get street level maps?
Thanks

Re: Driving required multicache
One more way to get a state souvenir without even being there.
Would be a little better if it were possible to get a smilie for each physical stage of the cache that each geocacher actually found and signed.
