Re: Thread Rename
I guess it is just in how you see things but I feel like "Misc Geocaching" is more confusing than General Geocaching. And I guess really in the end it probably won't matter.

Re: So whos going to talk to the police?
Scouting is huge here in Utah, but one thing our local geocaching group has a booth at the scout jamboree to inform young scouters about geocaching. Public service (and increased awareness) can go a long way to show the wholesomeness of geocaching.

Re: So whos going to talk to the police?
The first cache I placed was at the police station here in Utah. I didn't know that I needed to ask permission and it created quite the scare. The police (upon receiving a tip of an anonymous package) closed down two city blocks, called the bomb squad and blew up my cache with a water cannon. I got ...

Thread Rename
I believe the site would be easier to navigate for new comers of "Misc Geocaching Related" were renamed to simple: "General Discussion". Just a thought.

Cool GPS Waypoint Site
I just discovered this site: http://wayhoo.com/ It is awesome for downloading waypoints. Maybe you guys already knew about this site, but I'm excited about it. Between this and easygps, it is going to be a lot easier to go to places with which I'm unfamiliar. Anyway, I thought I would share with you...

Re: Night Caching
Wood Duck was fine at night last year because the Metroparks were open. They've change the rules and now close half hour after sunset. That's lame! I had such a good experience there last year that I really wanted to go back this year. Do you know if that includes all of the tow path trail? (Last y...

Re: What caches do I NEED to do?
Does anyone know of any covered bridges in the Midwest? I believe there are a few in PA and I am willing to drive, pretty much where ever to see some cool stuff. Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I just really want to do this trip right.

Re: What caches do I NEED to do?
I definitely plan on doing SQ-Star Trek while I'm there. BarnacleBear already recommended it, and I'm excited to do it. I noticed on Google earth that it isn't too far from Wood Duck, and I'm excited. Sidecut park is my favorite area in Ohio.

Re: What caches do I NEED to do?
I did Wood Duck last year, and I had just the greatest experience doing it. I have never seen as many deer at once, as I did that night.

Re: What caches do I NEED to do?
Some of my very favorite caches have been micros, but I usually don't enjoy them. I usually prefer normal sized caches.
I guess my preference would be caches that are in beautiful areas.

What caches do I NEED to do?
I am trying to plan my trip to my in-laws ahead of time. I am going to be in Perrysburg for 3 weeks and I have nothing but time. I would really like to find out what are some of the very best caches in Ohio, Michigan, & Indiana. Anyway.... long story shor: If I only do 10 - 20 caches in Ohio, wh...
