I finally ugpraded the board to phpbb 3.3 which will get rid of that stupid error.
We had some extensions that were lost in the process - some may have been emojis or expanded bbcode. If you all see anything super wonky ping me on FB and I'll try to fix it.

Re: Board moved and upgraded
I contacted someone who had been trying to sign up, she signed up with no issue. Thanks, again! *Edit* The only issue I have now is that I still don't get emails saying that someone signed up. I was in the habit before of just going & checking a couple/few times a week, and I can get back to th...

Re: Board moved and upgraded
Ok - tweaked the signup settings, so we should make sure they still work (Had 2 spam signups already so readded the justification and turned the captcha back to recaptcha)

Re: Upgrading forums soon
I can set the "base" page to be the portal like it is here - that's where I always find the unread posts link.
Would that help?

Upgrading forums soon
As an FYI, I'll be updating forums soon - possibly this weekend. We'll likely lose some of the customizations we're running unless I can replicate them, but it shouldn't be that bad.

Re: NOMADIC.. NWOGEO Meet and Eats
All opinions stated below are my own and in no way reflect those of the steering committee. I guess I fail to see the issue here. I went back 4 months, and the highest attendance was 7. October had 5 users. There were only 4 users our of the 26 total attendees that only attended this once. The group...

Request: Do the design smaller and near the pocket. The ones with the huge centered design were a bit over the top to me

Re: Cache Page Revisions
If someone wants to create content, we can host it on the site here. It was lost after we migrated to PHPBB and the machine hosting the old site had an unrecoverable drive failure.
That URL hasn't worked in many years - I'm not sure why people were still using it.

Re: Water Walk
I might try to get out there tomorrow if possible. Not sure I'll be able to.
Yeah, as best as I can tell the land was bought in 1989 by some guy in Kentucky, but is undeveloped. There are no posted no trespassing signs, and people clearly frequent the island.

Water Walk
If I put together a cache to go out to the water walk location, would anyone be willing to take it out there?
I can try to get out there over the next few weeks to replace it, but i'm not sure I will for sure. If I archive it, I'm not sure another cache would be permitted out there.

You just don't want to trudge through the woods after dark in a swamp with me at White Star like Craig didcheechgang wrote:With enough notice I can work on saving up the $5. Litzenburg is fine.
