Re: NOMADIC.. NWOGEO Meet and Eats
I see somebody created a meet and eat in Findlay on our regular night. Now time for my rant... If you want to move move the meet and eats, it would be appreciated that the people it affects the most have a little feedback. Sending a rep down all telling us "Oh by the way, we aren't having your ...

2015 Spring Fling
I am pretty sure I know the answer to this put I am going to ask it anyways. :?: The caches for the Spring Fling will be hidden in the next few days. A few years ago we started hiding the caches for the spring fling in the confines of Litzenburg Park. This was done mainly because the gas prices were...

Re: Local Oldies Caches
I have a couple near Litzenburg Park that I was going to archive to help with the hiding of the picnic caches. I then realized that these caches were placed in 2008 and 2009. These older caches are getting rarer and rarer.
I decided to leave them.

Re: 2015 NWOGEO MONTHLY MEETINGS
There has been some discussion about moving the Findlay Meet and Eat location. As of now, it is still going to be at Panera Bread until or if a new proper location can be found.

When I started caching it was Captain Buckeye. Letely, we have had a lot of different reviewers.
Thank you Keystone for upholding the integrity of caching.

Re: 2013 Spring Fling
I received an allowance on time. I am setting the time from 4:45 to 5:00. I will be submitting the cache for review in the morning. That way it will not interfere with the meal time of the Spring Fling.McCombRef wrote:There is a slight problem with this event. That is also the WWFM date set at 1:00 to 1:15.

Re: 2013 Spring Fling
There is a slight problem with this date. That is also the WWFM date set at 1:00 to 1:15. Not sure if we can hold two events at the same time. We may have to move the flash mob to Blanchard Landing so that we are not stacking events at the same venue. We could also hold it in the McComb Park again s...

I think Ms. Roby may have over estimated the amount of caches in the parks. She estimated there are thousands hidden in the Hancock County Parks.

I looked up light houses and found out that there are approx 700 in the USA. I also found out that Arizona has 11 of them.
Congrats on 5,000!

Re: Another bad idea for cache placement
Fusion Chamberlain and I looked for this one for about half an hour.
The cache owner e-mailed me later. I did get from him that it is Outside the store and that he hid it with an IPhone. I have yet to see a smart phone hidden cache be within 50 feet of its location.
