Re: Geocaching Gas

Around here, the pumps have the info for the County Auditor. At the Circle K in town they have 3 grades of gas. If you look closely you can see two small meters that measure the number of gallons of that grade pumped through the pump. Yep, 3 grades of gas coming from 2 underground tanks... :bat: My...

OCCD Powers onto 4000

Congratulations to everyone's favorite obsessive compulsive cacher OCCD on his 4000th find. And it was a biggie, too-Power Island.

I'm late to the congratulations party. Guess I'm trying too hard to be the next one to join this exclusive club.

Congrats to Handyman.

Re: Intrigue... Creative... Clever Cache Hides

Why am I not surprised this is a Stan&Ruth cache? They have quite a few clever, creative caches out there. My biggest problem with them is a lot of them are in the Huron-Clinton Metroparks system, where there is an entrance fee to enter the park. It is now $7 a pop. And I need to do Udder Madnes...

Re: Driving required multicache

If you want people to find your multi then don't put the stages too far apart. If that isn't your goal then put them as far apart as you like.

My suggestion is if math is required at any one of the stages, and driving is involved, put a Geocheck link on your cache page.

Re: Souvenir Spew

This August has provided me with a goal I've lacked all summer. I want to find more caches on September 1than I did the entire month of August.

Wish me luck.

The Fall Fling is scheduled for October 5, so if you want to maximize the number of people for this event that may not be the best date.

Re: Water Caching

I would be interested. If it is on a certain date in early October I might have to sleep boat, though.

I might have made a sandcastle if it wasn't so windy.

Re: NWOGEO 9TH YR ADOPT-A-HWY/CITO EVENT 2012

I have a potentially sticky question. The state's Adopt a Highway program is for roads maintained by ODOT, but when 24 is rerouted our stretch will fall under Lucas County's control. The current schedule for the rerouting in September, or before the 4th CITO. Does anyone know how this will affect us...

Re: Other hobbies & interests ??

I'm pretty dull. I love baseball (Go Tribe), and I especially like going to minor league games. I go to between 20-25 minor league games a year, and only half of them are in Toledo. I enjoy keeping score, and in August I started my fourth scorebook since the beginning of the 2008 season. I also like...
