I should ask if Keepeer and Coaster have planned anything for down there for the women's weekend?

If not, a camping trip to PIB would only get us a few caches...

But, I bet a big group of women could get some drunken sailors to take us to Starve Island!!!

I believe Keepeer has mentioned it, agian soemwhere near central Ohio. Same weekend as the boys.

Yes, TMA keeps insisting that there is a parallel event for the women. I haven't looked too much into it, but I really like Jen's idea better

One thing, how cold is it at PIB in November?

actually, the girls event came first, 2 years ago, out of an off the cuff remark I made to the Columbus Crazies. B74 basically said "If you girls get to have an event, so do the guys". And from there, 2 very memorable weekends were born.

We would also have to take the Miller Ferry. The good news is that we could get off season rates for everything!!! I wonder if we could do the campground thing or if we'd get a house? I may have to call K & C and see if they've done any work yet on this?!?!

The women's event has been pretty big. From the sounds of it last year there were 50 to 75 people involved. They also start planning it pretty far in advance, so it's likely that the planning group has it all worked out but just aren't talking.

I don't know if I like the idea of it being open to both sexes. I think I'd rather have more of a retreat style like the boys than one more smiley. That way we can talk about Brad Pitt, periods, and hair products while we're bushwacking, and have none of this .

Since nothing much has been done for Women's weekend planning, I'll do some research before we leave for vacation to see if the PIB plan is possible...this COULD be fun!!!
