I didn't plan on mentioning any swag provided by them. All it is are just coins that say Bass Pro, but it might be enough to tip Keystone off. I'm going to throw in some bobbers....but they'll come from another caching place (aka WAL-MART!)

ACTUALLY, gramababy13 and I attended these classes last spring...the fellow running it was very knowledgeable...

got us in the MOOD to cache hunt...

this was a mixed group of GPS owners, most were boat owners...

Maybe Bass Pro should invite a rep from all the local police departments to attend!

I think when we do a GC101 wherever it may be this spring....we should invite a rep from the local police depts! It's good to have an "insider" in the law!

I do agree that we need to send a special invite out to all the local police departments (minus Sylvania township, they already are in the know) to learn about our hobby and what to look for when approaching a "suspicious activity" call around a cache site.

I've been looking at old caches too much recently. I saw "GC101" and immediately wondered where it was and if it was still active.

**For anyone that is interested, it is still active and is located in New York near the Connecticut line near Pawling, NY.

...I'm drifting off subject to another thread, but why not just do away with the caches that invite suspicious activity in the first place... Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
